This forum is very similar to other forums here like Paranormal, Psychics, Mythology and Conspiracy Theories.

What's the point in this extra forum?

If you read the charter thread, it's explained quite clearly.

In a nutshell, this forum is for the abnormal rather than the paranormal. It was initially called 'Bordean Times', a spin on the name 'Fortean Times', a magazine which deals with exactly this kind of thing.

So it's kind of like the paranormal forum, just without the crazy people?

    Sweet.

Less ghosts, yes. The rest is the likes of cryptozoology, ie. unusual/unexplained creatures (chupacabra, bigfoot, nessie, etc), strange occurrences (spontaneous human combustion, crop circles, etc...) and other unexplained/unexplainable phenomena.

    Nothing crazy about PARANORMAL stuff....

THERE IS NO "NORM" .. 'Normal' is a made up word used by a group of people to try and justify something..... MEANS NOTHING!!

:PActually you're right , there is no norm - tho there are more normal folk locked away than there are out on the streets! ouldn't life be boring if we were all 'normal'? It's us 'quirks' that make life interesting!

As to the paranormal, I hae been invloved in that for about 35 years and to me every day has its excitements and interests because of what I have seen and heard, (and done!) There is no such thing as an accident, every event has a purpose, and the interchangeable links between cause and effect and human relations is so fascinating because of these ideas.
Of course I don't expect all to agree with me - that would be boring - but when one goes into the details of 'coincidences' its better than telly any day!!!

Looking forward to hearing from folks on this forum - oh, and a Happy New Year!!

Yeah you can always find seemingly significant details in the mundane if you really want to find them

What do you call mundane? Nothing is mundane - there's a reason or purpose for every event that occurs! There's no such thing as a coincidence.
