Is it possible for wind to become trapped in your Head?

So yesterday I had the worst headache of my life, it was really bad. It felt like someone was squeezing my head and eyes. I had taken pain killers any nothing was happening. I was rubbing the back of my neck and head when air started coming from my nose, but I was not breathing out, it was as if it was coming from no where. When the air came out my headache suddenly stopped.(well there was a slight headache left) This had me thinking that air must have been trapped causing pressure and the headache.

    So my question is:

Is it actually possible for air to become trapped in the head?

(I'm not sure if this counts as medical advice, and if it does, I apologize)
