After they finished the roadworks they didn't put the 120 signs back up! So you end up with a load of people semi-cautiously tootling along at about 107.

I know it's not a long stretch, but has the speed limit changed does anybody know?

The slip roads all have the 120 on them but they are missing on the dual carrigeway itself in places.

New advance notice (black on white) 100Kmph - 400 meters signs have appeared east of where the R623 (old N25) joins the N25 (Carrigtwohill exit eastbound). This would indicate that the 120Kmph section has been or will be extended further, from its original position, in the Midleton direction.
However, within the 400 meters there is a private residence entrance and an access road to local businesses, a caravan park, and some housing, neither entrance/exit has braking or acceleration lanes to facilitate vehicles entering from or exiting to the N25, this will be require vehicles to exit from or join directly on to lane one of a 120Kmph (motorway speed) section of road.

Can this be within whatever regulations apply to the design of junctions and access to roadside dwellings on motorways or high quality sections of dual carriageway with a motorway speed limit

Nice to see that the 'decorations' have been left in place over the festive season.
I wonder how much the Rennicks signs displaying out of date information are costing us financially raped taxpayers, but hey!, they do brighten up the place on these dark winter nights :mad:.

This is my understanding of it, there are no other signs to say otherwise.

Also over the last 3 weeks that Dual Carrigeway has been mayhem. As to approach the Castle Rock turn off some decided it was a good idea to put up flashing blue Christmas lights, cars heading down the dualler then think it's the cops so they slam on the brakes even though they're going less than 100. Bloody traffic comes almost to halt at that stage and then there is a mad rush to get into the lane for the Middleton exit after that.
