Professional Diploma in Education

Was thinking of doing a diploma in education at NUI Galway and would really like to get a current/past students point of view about the course.

    Is the course work difficult?
What is the timetable like hours wise?
Is it difficult to get a school to do teaching practice in?
Are there timetable exams like in an undergrad degree course or is it all continuous assessment?

Would greatly appreciate any help at all.
