    Hi drquirky,

Strong online registration so expecting great turn out. The course is very flat. Not a hill in sight on this route!

    Hope to see you there!!!

Windy but a great run !

Really well organised and just a great attitude from the organisers and people taking part. Also good to see such a strong turnout too.

Having done a few marathons in other counties and abroad (and hopefully my first Ultra soon) it's really cool to do a run in your home town.

Would be amazing to see a half marathon or even a full in Cavan at some point, lots of nice back roads with a few hills too ! I guess the issue is having it not clash with another marathon so time of year is an issue. At the moment there's the Breffni Challenge which is 13 miles but August bank holiday weekend is always a busy weekend and only managed to do it once.

But either way a great run and great to be doing it at home! Hopefully the start of a few more runs in Cavan and this becomes an annual thing.

Good race- my only feedback would be that starting the kids at the front was not a good idea. I started behind them and really struggled to get around them in a safe manner. Maybe something to think about for next year... FTR I finished in 17:39 for 7th place

    Hi drquirky,

Thanks for the feedback. Will keep the kids placement in mind for next year. I hope to get a short survey out in the next few weeks so we can improve the race for next year.

Thanks a lot for taking part.

    Best, Liam
