Christmas DIY "Selection Box" for wifey

Hey all, am thinking of putting together a bit of DIY box of my wifes favourite things as a little under the tree pressie for xmas morning. I'll have a box decorated up titled up as a selection box as such.

I'm just looking for some ideas of what I could put in it? Any suggestions? I know the obvious things like fav chocolates, sweets etc but wanted to think out of the "box"....excuse the pun :rolleyes:

You could put an "I owe you"..a back rub..a free afternoon, if you have kids, or get her tickets to a good show that you know she will enjoy.

Without knowing what your wife's favourite things are,it's difficult to give you ideas,off the cuff.

Samples and mini sizes of beauty products!
Where are you based, there might be specialist shops with unusual selections.
How about a mix-tape(cd) of favourite songs.

Lovely idea OP. Samples and mini sized beauty products will go down a treat. Just look at see what products she uses. They have great kits in Boots, which don't cost very much. You could get her a bath kit - candles, a body scrub, scented bath oil. Chocolates, a book by a favourite author maybe, seeds for her favourite flowers. Vouchers for future favours a great idea too.

Was going to do a mini bag of her favourite chocolates too, more often than not she'd only eat one bar out of selection box cause she is so "fussy".

Perphaps some of her favourite mags as well for the box? Am doing a treasure hunt for her on the morning of xmas so this "selection box" will be one of the prizes on the hunt.

1st clue / rhyme / riddle leads to DVDs / CDs / Books / Selection Box
2nd clue leads to Perfume. Got her that Calvin Klein Beauty...Nice !
3rd clue leads to one of the professional Hair Dryers.
4th clue leads to a Crepe Maker (Household Item I know but hey, she likes pancakes...ha ha)
5th clue leads to a new HiFi unit for her iphone
6th clue leads to a piece of string that when she unravels pulls out the Westlife Greatest Hits CD...with Croke Park tickets inside.
7th clue leads to a new IPAD 2.

Still have to put the riddles / clues together to have them on slips of paper along with each pressie
