Groupon question

    Hey, sorry if this thread doesn't belong here! I have a quick question about groupon.ie. I emailed them about it but no reply and offer I want is nearly over.

    Question is, when paying for the deal, can I use a Visa debit card?! Because the only options are paypal, laser of visa credit card. But if I put my debit card details into the credit card option, will it work??

    visa credit = pseudo credit card
    - why didn't you just give it a go and throw in the number?

    Save yourself the hassle - groupon are terrible, offer no customer service & seem to be understaffed to the extent that answering the phone takes 30 minutes.
    Their partners don't seem to be able to deal with the volumes of orders they get either. I am in the middle of an absolute disaster with them for memory foam mattresses, have another friend who ordered another deal from them where the company went out of business & a third friend who was refused a refund when they were experiencing difficulties with the provider of the service.
    UTTER DISASTER,... if it's too good to be true then probably is.
