Could anyone tell me how much it might cost to put a new
concrete path around three sides of a house.

    Total length is 75 feet.
    Width: 3 feet
    Depth: 4"

There are no pipes in the way. The ground is flat and ready.

The above price to include cost of materials and labour.

    Thanks

A rough estimate based on what my path cost me.

Is there access for readymix or will the contractor have to mix it himself?

My brother in law did my paths for me about 3 months ago. he was on his own and decided that he wouldn't be able to finish a load of readymix before it would go off so we got a load of concrete mix so that he could mix it himself (€120). He supplied and put up the timber edging to hold the concrete. The cement and extra bits and pieces cost €300 in the local hardware. He finished it with a lovely neat brush finish, rounded the path at every corner, put in steel to reinforce the corners, and did the edges and the joints will the bullnose trowel.

My paths in total were 120ft and 3ft 6" wide. He spent 7 days at it and I paid him €1000 for his labour, his tools and the timber edging.

    €1420 in total

Hope that gives you some idea as to the cost.

Thanks for that info. Sounds like you got a fine job done there.

Yes, there would be easy access for readymix.

    Thanks again.

A rough estimate for a load of readymix would be approximately €600 (+ or - a few €) to do the whole lot. Labour for 3 or 4 people to do the setting up, leveling and finishing (€500) The timbers for the casing and misc costs (€200).
