A new guy in the office has just moved over from the UK, considering joining this place and looking for a steer. I don't know much about the members set-up. Anyone any info?

I know the courses are good, practice facilities etc all good. But in terms of weekend comps, club teams and general buzz among the membership, is there much of it? Do they get a good turn-out?

    Any positive/negative feedback welcome.

Having played them a coupl eof times their Barton Cup is quite strong. Saying that they used a lot of junior members.

I'm a member there since 2005 and am very happy with the set up.
Over last 2 years, there has been much more emphasis on teams, with coaching orgnaised etc.
Competition on Sat & Sun (the "one" comp i.e. not 2 separate comps) and a midweek comp on Wed afternoon.
The comps are much busier since 2010 when the club took in many new members who are leasing and are very keen to play.
During the week, not much of a buzz about the place but there is at weekends.
Facilities are excellent, staff are friendly.
A few perks thrown in when membership subs are paid before end of December.
