    Hi All,

I purchased a IPhone 4S from O2 which works perfectly everywhere but in my house. There is no 3G signal coming up when i am at home and the internet grounds to a halt. Is there any booster i could get to improve 02 signal?

is there anything i can do to improve the performance of my Iphone at home?

If not will O2 release me from my contract if there is nothing that can be done to improve the signal?

Lot of questions and i hope some one can help

They probably won't release you as the phone works as expected everywhere else but inside your house. You can ask them here.

Do you have wifi at home, if so you can use that to connect to internet?
Are you in a very remote area?

No wifi at home currently. I am in a rural area alright but we have decent mobile phone signal

If you had VF wifi you could get www.vodafone.ie/mobilephoneservices/suresignal/

Again, ask o2 for any way to boost signal.

Is it just the iPhone that has bad 3G in the house or all 3G phones?

It could be the building itself, if it's old with thick walls

We're recently having the same problems with the o2 network

They don't actually provide in door coverage anywhere in the country, it's in the fine print of the contract....

    Lovely

What kind of a house to you live in?

My home house is quite old and has very thick walls. As a result of which anytime I'm there I've only a couple of bars of E coverage.

There's nothing wrong with my phone, it's the house that's the problem.

Nope, locked to the original carrier unless it was unlocked by them.

when did you buy the phone? If its inside your return date (7 days?) then you can just return it and get a refund?
