Skyrim - 24.99, Collectors Edition 84.99 in Game

Was in town earlier and in Game, (Ilac Centre) Skyrim (PS3) was 24.99.

The Collectors edition (contains huge model dragon, coffee table book and more) was down from 160 to 84.99

Also giving out free Game Loyalty Cards with every purchase (Apparently these are supposed to be a fiver each, not sure if they've ever charged that though)

Picked it up for the PS3 (despite the bugs!) for 24.99 on Dawson Street.

+Delivery of 2 or 3 pounds though.

Cheaper in Game.

I honestly can't remember about the 360 price as I didn't go near that section.

Unfortunately I leave nowhere near a game store so when I factor in the fuel costs and parking charges I am much better getting it delivered straight to the door.

You may be better off alright.

I was just ensuring people knew it would cost more than 22 to order from Amazon unless they bought something else to bring their order over 25 pounds and hence qualify for free delivery to the Republic.

Can confirm that the XBOX 360 Skyrim was 24.99 in Liffey Valley Game earlier today, snapped it up, only 4 left on the shelf there when I got mine, think they were selling quickly!!

I was there earlier today. They had plenty of copies on both 360 and ps3. Now to resist it..... I shouldn't have looked at the map. Now I must play it.

Thanks for the headsup OP- son desperately wanted the collectors edition and 160 was more than a bit steep for that. Picked one up in Game on Dawson St- had 2 left at the time but that was a couple of days ago.

I had a a look in Game - Ilac Centre in Dublin. No PC version that I could see, plenty of the console versions.

Thanks OP, just got this for the 360 in Game in Mahon Point SC in Cork. About an hour earlier, i tried Game in Patrick Street but they were out of stock. No idea bout the PS3 or PC versions, didn't ask..

same here, queued for a few minutes on my 30 minute lunch break with the game in my hand, got to the counter and was told it was out of stock :mad: perhaps it shouldn't be on the shelf then!! or it could be labelled out of stock!

i rang game in blanchardstown today to check availability for xbox 360 as it was out of stock the last few days,its back in stock but unfortunatly the price has increased to 39.99 its still the cheapest price around though as hmv/gamestop/xtravision are charging between 54.99 to 59.99

Easy to see why they had to increase the price on this, was an outrageous bargain at €25 in reality, highly recommend it for whatever price it is on amazon, great game in fairness

Steam tend to go with the RRP from the publisher I think and don't price differentiate except when it comes to a sale. And people still buy these at that price in droves.

I haven't seen it anywhere else at all in fact other than Game when it was €25. I had a browse around some of the main game shops the other day and most of them had next to no PC games in the first place.

I'd say online is the best bet really.

XBox and PS3 versions are £27 on amazon with free delivery which is still pretty good. £31.37 on PC

Skyrim on Steam is officially the fastest-selling title in Steam’s official history. Of course its not €50 a copy over in the US.
