    Hi All,

Just had a look on the sky ireland website looking for any deals on the sky movies upgrade. Couldn't see any info. Does anyone know if they have any offers on the movies and/or sports package at the moment.
Last year i got them both half price for 3 months and just had to call after the 3 months to cancel subscription and went back to my normal setup.

Can't even find the number to ring to speak to someone, the website has me going in circles!

Ok, hope this helps. I have been onto sky using the Irish number a couple of times over the past couple of months as, like yourself, decided to put on the movies over the festive period and enquired if a deal was available - each time I was told no. Well, coincidently I checked out the 'no 1890' site as my mobile has plenty of free mins but not to this national rate number (bare with me... I am going somewhere). There was no alternate local Irish number but there was a local uk number. This was ok as I am with 3 and half of my mins can be used to call the uk local or mobiles (not a well known fact!!!). I called 0044844241152200 (I checked after on my 3 bill - it didn't cost me extra) and spoke to a very nice scottish lady and after getting past the 'we don't have postcodes in Ireland bit' she offered me half price movies and sports for 3 months. Yippee. She also informed me to call back a month before hand as it will take this long to remove myself from this package if I didn't want to pay full price.

    Sorry for the long version.

The short version is....call the uk centre, not the Irish one.;)
