Espn through sky, billing question

As Im sure all basketball fanatics are well aware, our beloved NBA returns on Christmas day. I have decided I want to see the games live so I've decided to subscribe to espn. But my question is regarding the billing(not sure if anyone will have an answer to this one.) After looking it up online I found it costs 16 euro per month to subscribe to espn on Sky. If I sign up, lets say hypothetically on the 22 of December, just in time for Christmas will that mean I will be billed for all of December, and then billed again separately in January? Or is it the case that if I sign up on the 22th that I will receive me bill on the 22 of January(equaling one month.)? I'm really hoping its the latter. Answers much appreciated!

You won't be charged for the whole of December, only the days you are subscribed. Billing will be your normal Sky date.

So if i get in on 22nd and my bill is payed on the 31st I will be charged for 9 days? If that is so how do I find out how much it costs for just 9 days?:)

€16 is a bit steep for just espn, when you get all sports channels for €35

Yes.. Call Sky Cork and they'll add it to your account for free.

Yeah but I really am only getting it for live nba matches. I can get all the highlights of the soccer for free on rte anyway

Subscriptions are based on 30 days per month.
So if you divide 16 by 30 you will get how much it costs per day and then if you multiply that result by 9 you will get how much its going to cost for the days in December you'll have it.

You wont be able to get it for just 9 days. You will need to take it for a month minimum. Contact Sky and they will be able to tell you the exact cost.

I plan on getting it longterm, I just dont want to pay for December if I have it for 9 days! I will have no problem paying the 16 euro for January

Here's a curious one, currently have a deal from Sky,they have emailed with total cost when the offer ends next year, the price seemed a bit odd.

When I broke it down, they have factored in the €12 a month cost for ESPN-will this free with Sky Sports offer end next year??
