Connecting my laptop to TV

    It depends on your TV, I have a Samsung. Yeah I use the headphone audio from the laptop, I use the VGA to VGA into the back of the TV and a phono to phono cable. Make sure you buy them long enough. You could also have a look at dealextreme.com

    Where exactly do I plug the cable into the back of the TV? The audio jacks (yellow and red) or what?

    What TV do you have? Next to the VGA slot at the back of the TV there should be an Audio In, if its a red and white then yes. Or is it a single Phono jack?

    usually audio corresponds to the white and red rca inputs on a tv.. so youd need a standard white/red to minijack cable to connect the audio from your laptop.. yellow is for composite video.

    Sorry, got the colours wrong, inder the vga there is red and white inputs. So what will I need?
