Golf Club Membership 2012

Folks,

Does anyone know of any decent golf clubs that are doing good deals for new members in 2012 in Dublin or within 30 mins of Dublin?

Any ideas from you, would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Am a member in Bellewstown and membership for 2012 is €660 you can pay direct debit.
Or they have a option of 260 and pay as you play can work out cheaper if you don't play much.
There are a lot of threads on this if you do a quick search.

There are an awful lot of deals out there now but it really depends on what type of membership you are looking whether it be full membership or a pay and play membership or what ever.

The best thing to do is shop around the local clubs, email each of them and ask them what they have to offer. You can also use the membership search in the GUI which is good or even google golf membership deals and you will be sure to find what you are looking for

Leinsterhills Golf Club in Carlow are offering membership from €150. Very good deal, probably 50 min drive from Newlands Cross, motorway the whole way down.

Citywest are doing a good deal at the minute. Finally bit the bullet last week and joined at the new prices and am now a member. Also helps that I live about 10 mins walk from it. Membershipship doesnt start till 1st Jan so cant wait. Hope you find what you're looking for OP.

They are this years prices. Here's the updated list with the new Citywest price.

It's not a comprehensive list, but it gives you an idea of what's out there. I'm also not sure how accurate it is... e.g. it says €942 for full membership at Westmanstown, but then when you look at the Details it adds a €3K joining fee if you're not a member of the Gardai!

just looked thru that list and saw Galway Bay for 600 :Dand my eyes nearly fell out of my head. Thought thats unreal value seeing that its 5 mins from my door. Then saw after clicking it was only for the rest of the year:(........ah well easy come easy go.

If you play 36 holes every day for the rest of the year, it works out at €25 per round.

Sounds like a bargain to me.

Subscription for 2012 is €890 plus GUI/ILGU levy (€840 if you pay before January 31st).
Standing Order and Direct Debit facilities are in place with no penalty for spreading payment over 8 months.
Great value for a members owned course and only 20 mins from Lucan.

within 30 minutes if you can drive really really fast, athlone golf club doing membership this year at 50% of normal rate so you can join for €375 instead of the normal 750.

1500 in Druids Heath, comes with a free fourball in Druids glen or 1 night bnb in the hotel.

No joining fee.

Competitions usually €5
Prizes range between 100 voucher, 75 voucher and two ball at the glen (for 1st, 2nd and 3rd)

I think there's an open fairways deal with some course in Kildare midweek and due to be a deal with a course and hotel in costa del sol.
