    Ladies,

Thinking of getting herself a new bag for xmas. Just wondering if anyone can recommend where to go for it. Obviously I know Brown Thomas, BT2, Debenhams, Arnotts etc.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any specialist shops maybe in Dublin or online where I might pick up something for her.

Please don't use tLL to poll for advice or opinions on fashion or x-mas gifts -or where's best to buy them.

I've move your thread to Fashion & Appearance - there is also a Christmas Gift ideas and questions forum HERE.

To be fair, I was asking for advice on shops, not gifts

my wardrobe or net-a porter sell designer bags. I mention these because you mentioned Brown thomas. Prices should be broadly the same although greater selection online.

This one is beautiful in my opinion, but very expensive and not everyone likes red.

Well what kind of bags does she like? You could buy a designer handbag for her and she could hate it. e.g. I hate the Coach and Louis Vuitton monogram one, I think they are horrible bags. Yet I like their leather bags.

Also it would be helpful to know your budget too.

Couple of hundred quid I suppose.

I would say probably Shoulder/Tote bag is what she would be into.
