hello, For the past four months i have had symptoms that are similar to but not actually asthma. I can say this because i have been an asthmatic for the past 20 years. luckily with the past few years my asthma symptoms have been virtually non existant. Since August i have had a constriction of my trachea, it is manageable if not uncomfortable most of the time but a month ago it became severe, i was fighting for air, i was rushed by ambulance to hospital. There they stabilised me and realeased me the next day. They had no idea what caused it. The E.N.T. specialist had to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion about some peculiarity in my throat before assuring me that it was fine. Today iam still really uncomfortable with it, I have arranged an appointment with a respitory specialist. I am wondering what should i ask of him and should i do something while I wait for the appointment. It is very unpleasant not being able to breath properly because my windpipe seems to have shrank.
