    I'm hoping to have a fun run over 1km in March to celebrate 150 years of the local turf cutters group.

    Would people come to Kinnegad to run. Kilometre?

    I have a sponsor who is prepared to put up €5k first prize.

    Hmm I hope this whole thread is taking the piss ha! Cash funds like that do not showup often in Irish races, and are good for promoting athletics in Ireland (high profile names etc!), but its for a backwards race ha!
