where to hire equipment

    Hi. I'm looing to hire a pair of monoblocs and possibly a pocket wizard set for the weekend coming. Anyone know of a good rental shop?

    there is very few places which rent equipment in Ireland ... even less that hire out the equipment that you are looking for.

    I actually had to google monoblock strobes ... before I could understand what you were on about.

    Best you can hope for is... calumet up north...or maybe Conns Cameras..... or someone on boards has the equipment and is willing to rent/loan them to you.

    Conns Cameras in Dublin, Whelan Cameras in Limerick (Rent studio anyway, not too sure about equipment) and Barker Photographic in Cork rent Studio lighting equipment.

    You can rent an Elinchrom Ranger RX set from mhire.ie in Stoneybatter. Their prices are very reasonable and if you rent on Friday you get the daily rate for the whole weekend.
