00 corolla new shape radio help

    as above its the facelift model or the newer shape, the buttons on my radio have been pushed in too far by the previous owner..the radio controls or the mpg buttons will now no longer work...is there any way to fix them or will i end up replacing the complete unit...thanks for any help..

    This is a very common problem on these cars. You might be able to find a second hand one from a scrap yard. You might just need the housing but they scrapyard might not sell them seperately from the radio to you.

    Just replace with generic radio and facia adaptor, those head units are seriously flakey
