I'm looking to get someone a coffee subscription as a Christmas gift. Preferably one bag a month.

    Has anyone any recommendations.

Any of the following would be an excellent gift:
    Squaremile Filter Subs Espresso Subs

    James Gourmet

    Hasbean

I can recommend them all as I subscribe to each of them. :D
Squaremile ships start of the mth, whereas James Gourmet send mid/late month which suits me.

Hasbean also has a weekly sub called inmymug. Not only is it fantastic value, but there are weekly videos for each coffee which tell you all about the coffee, recommended brew methods etc.

Badger and Dodo is a vg Irish roaster that offers monthly subs (227g or 1kg).

Both Squaremile and Has Bean are excellent.

Also well worth a look is Bailies, based up in Belfast

Superb coffee and a great bunch of people, probably the best roaster on the island

I haven't had a sub with them yet, but I've had some of their coffee over the past few weeks and they do some really impressive work.

They do coffee angels roasting as far as I know as well.

Just thought it would be nice to throw up a more local option, their stuff is really great. Some Ethiopian naturals here at the moment and they are divine

Their Sidamo a few months ago was cracking.

I didn't know they had a subscription available. Nice one!

I have a strong dislike for coffee, very strong. My unbiased opinion is that no one would like coffee as a christmas present. A much better idea would be to get them a load of tea bags. You're welcome

That is a biased opinion. Maybe this forum isn't for you?
