    im thinking of getting a saxo because i heard the insurance is as good as free on a 1.1l but i want to stick a 1.6l into it could i get away with insuring it as a 1.1l

    depends what you mean by this. You may get away with it at a check point, in the exact same way you would with a fraudulent/scanned copy of an insurance disk.

    Would you get away with it if you had a crash? No. You would be screwed.
