Tried to unlock Sony Ericsson

    Hey there,

I tried to unlock a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray using FastGSM.com's service. The software that they gave me froze half way through its operation when I was using it on this phone, so it didn't unlock the phone. That isn't worrying me too much. What's worrying me now is that the phone won't connect to any network, even its original locked network (eMobile) using an eMobile sim card. It doesn't automatically connect to any network, and it won't let me connect to, say, Meteor because it says "Your sim card does not allow a connection to this network". I pick Meteor as an example because eMobile runs on their network, I believe.

From Googling I see that this is a common problem, but none of the common solutions have worked for me. I'm waiting for FastGSM to get back to me so I can try to unlock it again. But even if I could get it working on its original network I'd be happy.

Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.
