Punch bag question.

I'm not a Boxer, but a keen sportsman. In the past year I've discovered the great workout that can be got from a punchbag.

I'm quite fit, I run for 6 miles a few days a week, do a bit of weight lifting and some body weight routines, however hitting a bag for a few 2 minute rounds knocks the wind outta me!.
I am well impressed with it as a good overall workout, so much so that I've decided to buy my own bag.

The thing is I live in Galway and there isn't a great selection of places selling punch bags.

I suppose it would be a 4 or 5 foot bag I'd be after.

Argos, with their Rebbok and Everlast bags, seem to be the only supplier around Galway.

Also this bag on adverts has caught my eye.

I'd really appreciate peoples views on which of these bags to buy.

Elvery's store some good quality bags. Cloth bags. Heavy, but not too "hard."

BTW, a good bag session is great for overall fitness and tone.

Should be at least getting 90-100 punches per minute for a good workout.

    Hey thanks for the reply.

Had a look in Elverys in by the omniplex, they only have a selection of 3 foot bags, included in a punch bag kit. Huge quantity for them, looks like there for kids, maybe teenagers for christmas.
