Favourite cycling gear

I had a specialized bike so I wanted to match my gear with it so went out and bought a Saxo kit at the time. Changed bike now so I'm more free to go with the gear I want. But what does everyone think? Do you match your gear with your bike or are you fussy?
Spin11 seem to be good for jerseys at least; don't know about their shorts though.
What other brands of gear do you all like? And why of course...

Yes I'm fussy - don't match my gear with my bikes though, just make sure my bikes match my gear;)

I must invest in a pair of Santini's alright. They seem to be the business, if a bit costly.

Last night it was my Assos 851 jacket - 2 hours in wind and sleet with just a couple of Lidl base layers and I wasn't cold! It's about 10 years old now and still going strong!

    No.

The Assos Airjack jacket is the business for the cold weather for sure, paired with one or two bases as required. Watch the zips on them though, mine is on the way out and will need replacement after only a season. The jacket itself will last a long time.

I need to find a good comfortable pair of bib longs with a decent insert. Will look into the Santinis mentioned.

This Endura jacket is the best bit of kit I've ever bought. Pricey but infinitely breathable and waterproof, can't even believe how well it copes sometimes.

I have the same relationship with helmets. They always look good on other people but never me.

My 20 year old Panasonic Sportlife "Thermal" Jacket. Still fits! but only worn on rare occassions as crap insulation qualities. Was quite flashy in its day.;)

My present favourite is this Lampre jersey. Bought from Tax man as too small for him!
