    Hi,

Im looking for a location to shoot a scene for a film in greater North County Dublin.

We need to find a dried up river bed which has a bridge going over it. Preferably a road bridge but others may suit. I'm not sure if this even exists but worth a shot.

    Cheers

    Dave

A dried-up river bed in DCN in winter? Best of luck with that.

To be honest - you'd probably have difficulty in finding a dried-up river bed anywhere in Ireland at any time of the year.

Dose it have to be bone dry with a nice looking bridge and foliage, if not you could look at the brook in Skerries :D you can stand in it with rubber boots on or if there has not been much rain there are dry spots here and there.
There is an old bridge in St Anne's park raheny one of the arches goes over the river with another one over the pathway, you can see it here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/martinhughes/4449506599/

Would a rail bridge be any good?

There is a rail bridge just South of Rush & Lusk station before the estuary It has a bit of a track running under it which brings you to Rogerstown estuary. You can get access to it by taking the fiorst right turn after Blakes cross on way to Lusk or by taking a left turn just after the railway station as you travel from Rush to Lusk. Would be fairly quiet area
