white plaster finish

    hi , can anyone tell me if there is different shades of white sand for plastering, was on to one plasterer who told me there is a brilliant white sand. also does anyone know what price for materials roughly for white plaster finish on 2000sq ft house. thanks

    white sand can defo be bought in bags,probably bought 5 euro per bag,only used it once long time ago,beautiful finish,lovely to work with etc,use white cement with it also!!

    price on materials also depends on what beading you decide to use.
    the dearest are xpamet external profile beads,200 roughly for box of 25.
    material probably come to bout a 1000,but possibly more with the white sand.

    When I done my house about 3 years ago I got white sand in bulk from a local sand pit and the quality was good. I got some small 25kg bags in a builders providers and mixed in with bulk stuff (my plasterer recommended this) & also used white cement. Can't remember prices unfortunately.
