I have an issue with sms on my android phone (Xperia play). I have all the contacts in my phone saved as 086xxxxxxx . When I receive a text I get it from +35386xxxxxxx so it doesn't recognise the number in my contacts list. I also cant send sms to the 086xxxxxxx version of the number. Is there any way around this other…

Is there any way around this other then changing all the numbers in my contacts list to the country code version. Has anyone come across this before?
