The Euro is going to fail.
The government is secretly printing the Punt again.
We have to give up our sovereignty to Germany and France.
We're going to become part of Britain again.
The IMF want all your money.
Angela Merkel has a penis and is going to ass rape you.

In times of crisis, people tend to panic and believe all the crap they see in sensationalist media.
It has only worsened with the internet.

We're going to be fine. It's going to take a few years, but things will return to normal.

1990's normal. Not the 2,000's normal, which wasn't really normal, but was actually people being overly greedy and buying stupid things they didn't need and couldn't afford.

Just relax, stop blaming everyone else for your bad financial decisions over the past 10 years and remember not to do it again.

For those of you just coming of age, it was your parents' fault for being greedy and buying you stuff they couldn't afford to buy you, just so that they could keep up with Jim Jones and his family.
    Don't make the same mistake.

Stop hating your country and buy Irish stuff.

I don't hate the country just the people who are failing at running it.

    Jim Jones drank Kool-Aid.
If you hate Jim Jones, then you hate Kool-Aid and therefore hate America because Kool-Aid is American.

If you hate America, that's cool with me. Those ****ers don't know how to spell.

I'd tend to agree Terry, but then again, a lot of the truths we used to believe in have changed since the 90s. The world is a very different place and more importantly The West's position within it has changed. Not for our general betterment.

Things may or may not be ok.

Hold on, are you saying the Banks lending me money for a House, a classic Mustang, 4 bikes and 2 holidays a year was my fault. Anyone who knows me knows that was stupid.

Is it right that I hear the music to Baz Luhrman's "sunscreen" while reading the OP?

Thanks OP for the misleading thread title. If I'd have known it was another bloody 'Euro Crisis/Politics' debate in AH I would've just scrolled past it.

Ye I think all will be ok too but I aint taking anything for granted. Do you really trust Nick, Angela and Enda Kenny to save the euro? Do you believe this government will look after you and your family if the euro collapses? Hope for the
best n prepare for the worst.
