hi,planning on heading to a stag around may. 10-15 people. Just wondering if Belfast would be a good spot. we are late 20's. Thanks for any help/advice or recommendations! Looking for something other than galway ,cork etc. Cordel

I was on a stag in Belfast a few years ago. Recommend staying in Jurys Inn as it's so central. Recommend starting off in http://www.crownbar.com/ as it's just across the road. One problem we found is despite being in our late 20s and early 30s we had problems getting into bars, groups of men were not welcome and we ended up splitting into two groups. The bouncers were pretty strict and not particularly welcoming. The other problem we found was somewhere to have a good breakfast the next morning, but not being locals this didn't help.

    A good night out though.

We also had a stag there a few years ago and had a great time.
There is a decent indoor karting track (google eddie irvine karting) if you're into that sort of thing.
The clubs & pubs were good too - unfortunately I can't remember any names though :o

It's a good spot for a stag, some decent bars and clubs in cathedral quarter, premier inns are best bet or park inn hotel. Bars/clubs depend on taste but plenty to choose from, social 21, ollies or more irish authentic bars whites tavern, duke of york..

belfast is tiny so walking distance and quick taxis ftw

try ollies, mchughs & rain (all close to each other in cathedral quarter area)
