reset service now indicator on 06 vw passat?

    Anybody got any idea how to reset the service now indicator on a vw passat 06? I see there is a reset button under the wiper lever, got car serviced but not at main dealer and he wasnt 100 percent sure, any ideas would be appreciated? cheers!

    If the system is the same as my Audi 02 (both vag) the reset by the buttons is a fixed interval reset. If you were on a variable interval it has to be done via vagcom on a computer.

    Just something to be aware of as I have mine manually reset, so says 10k miles I think, there is no way I'll be leaving it that long before changing the oil.
