Broadband modem Broken

Hi, i've got a netopia 2247-02 (yeah one of the really old eircom ones) and its finially broken, i'm looking at buying a new one and i want to buy a better one then my provider will give me. My question is with this one above it says it connects to "any modem or ISP box" but does it connect straight into the phone line?…

The one you linked to doesn't do DSL, you'd connect it to a DSL modem with an Ethernet cable.
