Snow Falling At Last In MacGillycuddy Reeks

    Finally the start of the snow has arrived in the MacGillycuddy Reeks! Nothing much yet, but it's looking great. Will post an image of them here as soon as I can. Looks like lovely walking up there at the moment, but nothing solid or iced yet.

    would be perfect if it only comes down to 500m or so then stays there for the winter, that way we can drive around and enjoy all the benefits :o

    Looks like a fair dump of snow up high along the west coast this Thursday and Friday, so the weekend looks good for some winter mountaineering! The MacGillycuddy Reeks should be an exciting place to be, although nothing will be frozen properly.

    No it's pretty much all stripped and what little is left is wet and slushy. Sat and Sun were amazing up there! Fingers crossed it comes back in Jan or Feb.
