Easypad Junior vs Archos 80 9G

    Hi,

Looking at a tablet for my 9 yr old daughter.

I have an ipad which she messes around with and my worry is that if i go for a cheaper android (I have an android phone - so well used to the OS), she'll find it sluggish or frankly, crap, and it'll just gather dust.

The Archos 80 9G looks good but only seems to be available via pixmania. Carphone warehouse have it as "coming soon" but it is available in the UK carphone warehouse.

The easypad junior looks a bit basic but maybe it'd suffice for what she needs (youtube, surfing, ebooks and email).

    Anyone any thoughts?

I've posted a little about the G9 here. Komplett are selling it for €250, or if you're looking for something a bit cheaper for a kid, you could try this (DID are selling it for €150).

Thanks, also played with an easypix easypad 970 today - looks and feels great but only had it for a few minutes.

Peats do them and mention "it has rave reviews all over the web" - which is a bit odd, coz I googled it and can't find any!!!!!!!!!
