Hmm...I ordered this last night at 73 euro. Better cancel and re-order I think.

What's the best alternative one that doesn't require power?

Great hard drive. Have one with a while now and no issues with it.

pretty much all the powered ones are 3.5" (i.e desktop sized) drives. if you want a USB powered one, look for one of the smaller 2.5" (laptop sized) drives instead.

Contacted them requesting a refund of the difference and they replied within an hour saying though it was not policy, they would do so in this instance as I've ordered so much from them :D

That's how customer service should be.

    Combined it with this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005NYOKC2

making a saving of 55£ over http://www.amazon.co.uk/Live-Hub-Media-Center-1TB/dp/B00466IEXE/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1323193657&sr=1-3 and this setup is even more handy as it can be used as a hard drive solely aswell as a media player
