I started 2nd year in a 3 year course this September, but now due to illness and personal issues I have been forced to defer, I was awarded the Back To Education Allowance payment in early October, does anyone know as I am deferring am I required to pay this back? It was spent the day I received it on books/materials and to pay back a loan of €330 I had borrowed to cover me for the first few weeks.
