water softener systems...anyone using them and did they make much of a diffrence?

    hi
    we are living in a hard warter area (new house, one year old.)
    and its really noticeable how much limescale has built up on the shower heads and shower door in particular.
    so im kinda worried that its going to have an effect on the plumbing, and i dont want to be replumbing the house any time soon.

    so just wonering if anyone put one in, and if they think it made any diffrence. any advice or suggestions, and if you are happy with a company, feel free to PM me thier details, particular if they are in the west of ireland.

    We had to install a water softener as your solar panels were getting clogged up. Work a treat on that so I assume they are working on the rest of the system. I'll PM you with the company I used who are based in Galway/Clare.

    I also might consider a system in the future, could you PM me their details too and rough cost?

    Also, do you know if they cover nationwide?
