similar to most uk retailers speed-wise (about a week from ordering to delivery), and never had any problems.

Not true. There is a drop in FPS in some places but it's certainly playable. And I'm sure developers will iron out the issues with a path (Although ironically the latest lag was caused by a patch :pac: ).

As per the recent thread on getting Red Faction Armageddon from Game it appears possible to get free delivery by putting in delivery address as UK but then entering your Irish address as normal using postcode BT11AA. Then on payment details put in your cc but don't use the delivery address - put in your proper address selecting Ireland as the country.

It accepted my order anyway at total cost of £22.49. Fingers crossed it goes out ok.

In the meantime thanks OP. Probably worth more than this on trade in at the moment.

Just picked up the Xbox version for 22£ - didnt chance trying the free shipping trick, it was only an extra 2£. Would have spent 45e on it from gamestop anyway!

Ahh excellent, i checked both Game and Amazon about 8am this morning, and both had gone back up to full price.. Rechecked Game following your post and it's back down to 22 quid .. ordered (using the free post method, worked a charm last week with Red Faction for 5 quid ).
