I think the news angle though is that the pressure put on certain areas from sitting creates more scope for fat cells or something. Even among slim people.

Nail on the head. I'm not a fan of big asses at all because they're usually riddled in cellulite and usually the rest of her is crap too. However, an in proportion round ass is unbeatable, no matter what the size.

I don't, that's my point. it used to be bigger, but i've lost weight recently and it's almost deflated. i wish it was bigger (as Donal predicted). if i was fat i'd admit to it. but yes of course most of the time girls say they're curvy, they're really just fat, hence my explanation in the first post.

Bad news? But I'm a lazy git I exercise everyday but only the exercise that suits me so even though I don't sit on my arse all day I don't exercise anything above the waist except arms. (Don't need a lecture on that yawn).

Aesthetically who cares if you have a larger arse or hips whatever you don't exercise, health wise yeah its something to take care of but eh isn't the weight around the thighs and arse not half as bad as anything above the hips because its near to all your vital organs.

I don't know different week different article different health advice, sit on your arse all day might not be good for you no shít Sherlock

Not wishing to drag this thread down to an intellectual level, but there is research to suggest that when a group of women spend a lot of regular time together (eg in an office environment), their menstrual cycles will eventually all reset to synch with the most dominant female.
