For some reason I haven't received the email yet but I stumbled across an unbelievable deal on Livingsocial today for The Salon.

Over €600 of treatments for €50! or nearly €1,400 worth of treatments for €99!

    https://share.livingsocial.com/deals/131655

Every female family member is getting one of these! Sorted! And they'll even exchange the printed out voucher for a "normal" gift voucher in the place so I won't feel like a Pikey handing over a discount voucher for Xmas!

were all those treatments ever REALLY worth €600?
there may have been some eejits paying that much back in '06, but I would think they're "worth" about a hundred

You might want to be careful with the "laser hair removal sessions" might not be every lady's cup of tea!!

I'm not sure if they deliver to Ireland but bought one for my parents in the UK.

I,d be wary of that. It is definitely not worth 600 squid.
Why is a salon offering such a time consuming deal in the build up to the busiest time of the year?

Appointments are being taken for 9th January 2012 and onwards

That's why - could that be the quietest time of the year?

Careful - click "other conditions apply"

T&Cs say that all treatments must be undertaken in one visit to the salon.

So you must, in one day, have:

    One full body Swedish massage
Two treatments in the reaction (one area x 2)
    Shellac manicure
    Full Body Spray Tan
    Eye lash tint
    eyebrow shape
    eyebrow tint
    Medi pedicure
6 x sessions of laser hair removal on 2 small areas or an extended bikini line

Oh it's a deal alright. An ordeal. Arf!

Doesn't laser hair removal take twelve visits, so visits 7+ is where they'll get you

I got my brother to get me one of these after seeing this alert although Im a little nervous now after reading reviews here:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055858484&page=2

Bottom of page 2 onwards ... eek!

Hoping it will turn out ok and they better not try and make me do it in one day or words will be had. After reading those reviews and being treated poorly in other places for having a discount voucher I am taking no crap from them!!!
