When a girlfriend of a young person dies there really is no help or support for that person, The girls parents and family and thought about and looked after and rightly so but the boyfriend is more or less forgotten about and left to look after himself.

I see you closed your account but hopefully you'll still be looking in as a guest....
There is always help available, its just that it can be very hard to find when you're in a situation like that where everything gets so dark and you think there's no way out. Don't give up looking!

To the rest of AH, leave out on the joking until a mod can move this.

OP - If you need someone to talk to - create a thread in personal issues so you can share your burden with us. Don't be afraid to talk to your family.

OP - Hopefully you are still looking in on this.

If you need someone to talk to, have a look at Samaritans Ireland

Or alternatively you can ring them on 1850 60 90 90*

Samaritans provides 24-hour emotional support to anyone experiencing distress, despair or suicidal thought.

Death is so tragic for all concerned and sometimes people are forgotten unintentionally.

You can ring Samaratins or maybe try talk to friends and Family,
