How would someone go about get diagnosed as having multiple personalities? Sometimes (lets just call them John) John thinks he has this and other times he doesn't, but that could just be because a different personality feels this way instead. We're not too sure if maybe it's multiple personalities or if John is bipolar or…

How would someone go about get diagnosed as having multiple personalities? Sometimes (lets just call them John) John thinks he has this and other times he doesn't, but that could just be because a different personality feels this way instead.
We're not too sure if maybe it's multiple personalities or if John is bipolar or both!?
Do you need to have someone seek a doctor for this because John would never go seek help.

OP - we cannot give you medical advice.
Suggest that next time "John" feels this way someone accompanies him to his GP, or approach his GP alone and seek professional advice.
