RTE Player not working

This may not be the correct place to post but anyway I'm having trouble with the RTE player on ps3. It worked fine until about 3-4 weeks ago and now it just loads the video and keeps loading forever, never playing. Has anyone else had this problem? Have you got a solution?
    Thanks

Yes, I have experienced the same issue but got it working most times by just clicking a few seconds along the scroll bar.. let me know if this works for you..

Clear your history and cache/cookies, open up an internet page and press triangle and clear from there. Then try to use the RTE player.

Yes thank you, its a pity that this causes the audio and video to lose sync. I believe the problem is that the ads will not play for some reason, I said this to RTE through the player feedback page and here's their reply:

    "Dear Brian,

Thank you for contacting RTÉ player with your query.

It is possible a firmware update for your PS3 may be required to update the browsers flash player. Providing you have a steady internet connection the PlayStation should prompt you to download a system update once you start it up

    Best wishes,

    The RTÉ player team"

Seems like they don't really care.
