    Hey folks,

We currently have a 300 litre hot water cylinder in our garage and the hot water is pumped into the house. Its run from a Firebird oil boiler. We also have underfloor on the ground floor and rads upstairs.

Im just wondering if having the rads were on for an hour would it draw from the cylinder as the cylinder does not have any hot water in it now? We had the underfloor, rads and hot water on for an hour from 5 to 6pm. But when I went to run the hot water there it was only running luke warm.
Would the UFH and rads pull the hot water from the cylinder?

the HW should be separate so I suspect, based on what u wrote, that its a stuck stat on the HW circuit or / and a faulty zone valve

Well the UFH is working and the rads upstairs are working. Just wondering where I should check for the valve on the hot water cylinder?

Just turned on the boiler for 15 minutes and the cylinder is hot again. Cant be right that the boiler was on for an hour at 5pm for UFH, Rads and hot water yet there was no hot water at 10.30pm tonight, can it?

have a look on the pipes to the cylinder for the stat.

the zone valve should be nearby..
