I'm missing a hubcap for a 1.8 '03 Mazda 6 since yesterday. Has anyone got any recommendations on where I could find a replacement?

    On a second-hand car?

    In a scrap-yard?

    Try scrapyards.

I ended buying it (Exactly same car) from Belgard autos few years ago as I couldn't find any second hand. It was somewhere around 35 euros.

Yes, I'm looking for a second-hand hubcap as well. Any good scrapyards around north county Dublin? I'm not from here, so I don't know the area and local businesses that well.

    Why don't people buy alloys?

Cheap enough for a second hand set these days.

Buying a set of alloys is a bit of overkill for a lost hubcap!

Maybe it's just me, but i'm finding, sorry, seeing hubcaps on the side of the road all the time. Keep your eyes open and tell your friends to do so as well.

Just saying in general, alloys are cheap especially if you find a set in good nick with decent tyres and almost always improve the look of a car..

    Cheap alloys are cheap

4 hud caps cost a lot less than 1 alloy.

Then there's the fact that alloys are more easily damaged on our roads and harder to repair.
