Equestrian Clearance are quite good. There is an element of getting what you pay for though. My lad has two Premier Equine turnout rugs and one shires rug (all of different weights). The PE rugs are lasting better. theres a discount code on their facebook page.

Coolers dont matter so much although I really want a thermatex.

    Hi stargirl,

As I was saying to one of the poster the other day Bucas have a great sell off list going at the moment. They are offering us the retailers huge discounts on last years colours. An example, a rug that normally sells for 245 now sells for 90 and thats not seconds!!!

Any retailer worth their salt will pass on this discount so you should be able to find someone local to you that stocks them.

Other than that, we have been offered a few deals but usually their from not so good brands. If you can stick to Celtic, Cameo, Horesware, Bucas. Plenty of deals to be had in shops.

Regarding fly rugs, usually there never very well priced. I know Im always shocked at the price. You'll probably pay 50 ish for a decent one. They are a specialised rug so there not made in the same quantity so hence there a little more expensive.

As I say shop around. As Fits said though you do get what you pay for. A good rug will last years. I wash a lot of rugs and some of them are very old and still solid. Some of the cheaper ones can fail when washed etc.

Anyways let us know how you get on, I always like to hear the deals people get.

    Eoghan

More than likely shops but you could try online. Nearly every tack shop. In the country has access to Bucas so you should find it easy. If you have no joy PM and I'll see if we know a good shop near you that will pass on the savings.

    Thanks

    if online is ok,try ebay.
not just mentioning it because it sounds obvious but have bought BNWT tack from ebay before and never had any issue with it whatsoever-a bargin to.

was going to say argos,as they sell horse rugs over here,but...have just had a look at the .ie store and they dont seem to be coming up-so perhaps ireland argos doesnt stock em.
tesco is another one that may stock horse rugs in the largest stores as they do over here if am not mistaken, dont have a tesco account to search that on their site.

can always have a browse on robinsons in the UK,as they ship to ireland no problem, was at their largest store this week and they had some good deals on, pity was almost cashless as woud have walked out with the lot.:P
scroll down to the bottom of this page to the international orders for ireland postal charges:
