On zinio, very handy if you have an iPad, but can also be accessed from laptops etc.
National Geographic €15.99 for 12 issues
Rolling Stone €15.99 for 26 issues
    Maxim €11.99 for 12 issues

I am sure there are others too if you look around

You can get these subscription for half of those prices on zinio if you do a bit of creative thinking when buying your subscription :D

hmmm its SLIGHTLY cheaper to buy a sub to Edge from the uk site. It does say that prices are subject to VAT. Does that mean stick 21% on top of the subscription price?

I had a look, NME for $20 rather than £51. I tried it out and once I put in a billing address for Ireland it reverted back to the sterling price.

Are you just making up some US address? Is that not dodgy when you're involving a credit card?

Worst that would happen is your credit card payment wouldnt go through.

You might have to use a US VPN, or maybe use paypal or something to get the US rates if you're not living there.

    Got it in one.
Pretend you live in the US.
    Some price difference isnt it.

Signed up and waited for the €25 credit note. Got a means health sub for $0.50 with it. I was gutted it couldn't be used against NME... maybe I'll splash out the $20 at some stage now that I'm an honorary american. :D

You can use the voucher to purchase US titles even if your account is in Ireland so I presume if you get a gift card later you can do the same. The voucher can also be used for UK Magazines but you have to change to UK on the site and pay the UK equivalent price. Also make sure you deselect the automatic renewal otherwise the voucher won't work properly.
Great value and there's also a Touchpad app which is great!!

National Geographic (the real paper one) can be had for $22 (€16) including international shipping at the moment.

If you register and buy a magazine (GB or USA doesn't matter) you get a $25 voucher code emailed to you.

Incidentally, Touchpad app users may experience trouble with their library if you download certain free samples. If your library disappears after downloading these just delete it from your library via the website and restart. Zinio are working on fixing this bug an update should be released pretty soon.
