    No. And it seems like it may not in the foreseeable future.

    Around 10 months ago there were reports that A&F were definitely going to open on College Green. Even the Irish Times reported on it.

    However, around 4/5 months ago reports came out that A&F were going to 'wait' and see how the Hollister store performed in Dundrum before they fitted out the A&F store. I dunno why as my understanding was that contracts had been signed and rents agreed etc. so I'm sure what use leaving the store empty will do them. But there seemed to be a very big u-turn by the company. I'm sure the recession and the euro crisis etc. had something to do with it.

    I do hope they open on College Green eventually though. Not because I'm a huge fan of their clothes but because the unit there badly needs a tenant and A&F is a reputable enough brand and would be good for the area.

    We'll see anyway.

    I don't see why they wouldn't open an A&F after the success of Hollister - that place is jammed all the time, there's even queues out the door - it's a crazy shop!
