Ryanair & wrong return flight dates??

Just curious to know if anyone has had to re-book or change flights because the flight return dates changed? I booked a flight from the UK to Dublin returning on the 29th December but the when I printed out the flight detail it said return date was the 29th January 2012. This meant I had to go back and change the flight which cost me €127.

Is it that easy to mess up the month while booking or am I losing the plot??

It happens. It's why it pays to double check everything before paying.

I really wish I could accept that - Do I take screen grabs all through the process? Even if I was right and I was duped, do I have recourse? If so how?

How were you duped? The website selected the date by itself?

I chose a December 29th return date and I'm inferring, if I am right, there could have been a date change not generated by me. I'm simply asking if this happened to anyone else, I'm not making a big deal but I would like to know.

I've booked the wrong day to return by accident on one or two occassions, the interesting thing is while if you booked dublin to uk it costs 100+ tp change details, if you booked from uk to dublin it only costs 50 odd pounds. I was very annoyed when I found this out. EVen still what I tend to do is rather than change the flight I just book a new separate flight which, more often than works out to be much cheaper than the change of details.

Yes, it's easy to mix up the months. When you bring up their date chooser, two months are presented, so it's relatively easy to pick the second month in error.

However, the months are clearly marked at the top, so it's not like it's obscured or hidden. I tried to book a flight in December just now and the calendar brought up December & January. My instinct was to go for the January dates on the right, but December was there on the left, just as prominent.

Are you saying it was the site that selected the dates and not you? If so, then you are clearly mistaken
