I'm travelling on the bus from London to Dublin tomorrow. I've never travelled on this service.

My suitcase broke today and i'm wondering is there anyway one would be allowed travel carrying clothes in a black bag? People seem to think I would be but am unsure.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

My only concern, if I were to use a black plastic bag, is that it would be mistaken for rubbish and removed from the bus at some point along the way. If you could get some masking tape and use it to clearly label the bag, that might avoid such a mix up!

Otherwise, just pick up a cheap hold-all or see if you can borrow a bag.

Don't know if you're being serious OP, but then I doubt you'll be the first to make the journey with a black bag.

In London of all places, there is no shortage of shops and markets selling bags of all types.
The Tottenham Road end of Oxford Street is full of them. At the other end of the street Primark also sell cheap travel holdalls.
Mountain Warehouse, Southampton St, Covent Garden also stock a huge number of bags of all sizes at good value.
Wentworth St around the corner from Aldgate East tube has a number of shops where you can pick up any kind of luggage bag for under a tenner.

Failing all the above there are countless second hand shops all over London where you can buy an old suitcase for the price of a few bin liners. And they'll certainly be a lot more secure.

Hi, I was being serious. I had a lot of luggage but my suitcase broke. I didn't really have a lot of cash left but managed to get bags in Mountain Warehouse.

There was a great sale on there. Thanks
